Today is Jules’ friend’s wedding. So we’re getting gussied up to head on over. I bought a shirt and pants and just to add a little spice, a tie, for the occasion. I don’t normally wear ties. I can’t even remember the last time I wore one. So I had to look up how to tie the tie. The website I found had several knots to choose from but I just clicked on the first one, the windsor knot. After tying it I read the description. “The Windsor Knot is a thick, wide and triangular tie knot that projects confidence. It would therefore be your knot of choice for presentations, job interviews, courtroom appearances etc.” So today I shall be projecting confidence at the wedding.
I’m bringing my camera, so you may get to see some pictures of pure, unrestrained confidence.

Over the weekend we saw Knocked Up, Judd Apatow’s (The 40 Year Old Virgin) new movie. At over two hours it’s a pretty long comedy, but the jokes keep rolling so it doesn’t feel very long. There are a few cameos thrown in there for good measure too. Like Ryan Seacrest and James Franco (Jules was like so *_*).
Once is a ‘modern day musical’ about a pair of musicians who form a strange bond around their music. I guess it’s not that strange. I’m undecided on whether I like the ending or not. Anyway, the music is pretty good and I hear it’s on iTunes so you should check that out.
