I’m Back

Mike, his mom, his little bro + little bro gf, and I went to see the Nutcracker at the Paramount again this year, this time from the vantage point of the mezzanine. And I think I like it better- I could see the formations a lot better. Mike had been preparing for the Nutcracker by listening to Tchaikovksy’s Nutcracker Suite over and over for the last two months. When I was in junior high, I remember borrowing the cassette tape from the library and listening to the music over and over because the music was so beautiful. I hadn’t actually seen the ballet until last year. While I enjoyed the performances, the music is what sticks with me more. Go Tchaikovsky! Woot woot!
